Remembering Iowa’s Fallen exhibit and free breakfast event set for July 14th

MASON CITY – The public is invited to the North Iowa Events Center on Sunday, July 14th for breakfast and to observe a photo exhibit to honor Iowa’s fallen veterans.

The “Remembering Iowa’s Fallen” exhibit will be open to the public on Sunday, July 14th. A special photo exhibit of 87 Iowan soldiers who gave their lives in the War Against Terrorism will be displayed at the North Iowa Events Center fairgrounds in Mason City at the Loafing Shed shelter. There will be no admission fee to the fair to attend and honor these Iraq and Afghanistan heros. The display will be open from 7am to noon.

A Flapjacks breakfast hosted by the local Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 790 will be held during the exhibit from 7am till noon. A menu of “hot off the grill” flapjacks, ham and eggs, fruit cup and a beverage will be served. Free will donations will be accepted and appreciated.
