MASON CITY – A man with a violent past was arrested by Mason City Police on Sunday and charged with assault.
Bradley Arthur Heinold, 24, of Mason City, was arrested after five Mason City police officers responded to a call at 11:30 AM about a disturbance between Heinold and a Clear Lake man at 220 3rd Street NW. Heinold was charged with serious assault and failure to carry proof of insurance when he was apprehended at about 12:26 PM at the same address.
This is not the first time Heinold has been arrested for a violent crime.
On July 28th, 2012, the Charles City Police Department arrested Heinold for domestic assault. On October 15th, 2012, he pleaded guilty in Floyd County Court to domestic abuse assault causing injury and was placed on 1 year probation.
On July 2nd, 2011, the Charles City Police Department arrested Heinold for domestic assault causing injury. On July 15th, 2011, he pleaded guilty in Floyd County Court to domestic abuse assault causing injury and received a fine of $65 and court costs. He still owes $184.69 to the court in that case.
Heinold is being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $1,000 bond.
