CLARION – A head-on collision Tuesday has left an Iowa woman dead and an Iowa man injured.
According to a report, at about 6:50 AM Tuesday morning, a vehicle driven by Lisa Ann Berry, 47, of Rockwell City, Iowa was eastbound on Iowa Highway 3 about a mile and a half west of Clarion when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck an on-coming vehicle driven by Dean Johnson, 44, of Livermore, Iowa.
Berry was killed and Johnson was injured and taken to a Des Moines hospital.
The iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, and Clarion police, fire and ambulance service.
The accident remains under investigation.
