MASON CITY – The Lime Creek Nature Center is hosting an After School Special – Winter Birds – on Monday, February 25th, from 4-5 p.m.
Participants will learn about the brave little birds that stay for Iowa’s winters, including where they live, what they eat, and how they stay warm on those cold winter days. Learn to identify some common winter birds and see how many of these birds you can spot at our feeders!
This program is for elementary age students accompanied by an adult. There is no charge for this program but registration is required. Please call 641-423-5309 to register or for more information.
