From the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s office:

DUE TO A LARGE FIRE IN MESERVEY POWER WAS DISRUPTED AND THE WATER TOWER IS EMPTY AND UNABLE TO BE REFILLED. MESERVEY FIRE DEPT IS REQUESTING ALL CITIZENS OF MESERVEY TO REFRAIN FROM USING ANY WATER. THIS WILL BE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. MESERVEY FIRE DEPT IS REQUESTING ALL MEDIA TO ASSIST THEM IN NOTIFYING THE CITIZENS OF MESERVEY OF THIS PROBLEM.
