MASON CITY, IOWA – Mason City Culver’s will donate 10% of sales from January 21 and 22 to United Way of North Central Iowa’s Backpack Buddies program. Community members are invited to eat lunch, dinner, and grab dessert next week to support Backpack Buddies.

For the month of January, United Way invites community members to join the ‘One Campaign’. One month. One goal. One hundred children. Please help United Way expand Backpack Buddies in the month of January to feed 100 additional children across north central Iowa elementary schools. A student can receive food on the weekends during the entire school year for only $155. Your investment can go to the elementary school of your choice in United Way’s nine county region. The money donated from Culver’s will be invested in the Backpack Buddies program.

Culver’s (51 South Monroe Avenue – Mason City) will be open both days from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. United Way will have information about programming, volunteer opportunities, and upcoming events at the restaurant.
