MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was cited for a traffic offense after striking and injuring a pedestrian Monday evening.
Michelle Rowland, 47, was driving near 6th Street SE and South Mississippi Avenue at about 8:37 PM when she struck Vic Koenigsberg, 70.
According to a report, Koenigsberg suffered what are described as minor injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital via ambulance, where he has remained since, sources say.
Rowland was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
Koenigsberg is known for being a former neighbor of missing KIMT anchor Jodi Huisentruit who says he heard an altercation in a the Key Apartments parking lot the night she vanished in 1995. Koenigsberg has also described his theories on what happened to the young woman after she vanished.
Hmmmm. Vic has gotten 2 years older since April of this year.
