MASON CITY – Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s said today that Thomas Al Peck was arrested and charged with Reckless Use of A Firearm and is currently being held in the Cerro Gordo County Jail on $2000.00 Cash Bond.
On 11/9/12 at approx. 1600 hrs Deputies were dispatched to 15651 Nettle Ave for a report of a man with a gun. The caller reported that a male subject, Thomas Al Peck, 62 years of age, had shot at his brothers’ vehicle and was in the area on foot.
Upon deputies arrival an area search was conducted for the suspect.
Mr. Peck was later located and taken into custody without incident. Mr. Peck was transported to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa for evaluation.
No injuries were reported in the incident and charges are pending.
