MASON CITY – Shortly after 9am Saturday morning Mason City police officers responded to a single vehicle collision with a utility pole at the corner of State Street East & Indiana Avenue South.
As a result of an investigation, 61-year-old Mason City resident Gregory Louis Kipper was arrested and transported to the Cerro Gordo County Jail.
Kipper was booked into the jail at 10:39am and charged with one serious misdemeanor count of 1ST offense OWI, and a simple misdemeanor count of failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
Kipper remained in the Cerro Gordo County Jail Saturday evening on a $1,000 cash or surety bail requirement.
SUBJECT IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY
I seen this happen and this man is very lucky he didnt kill someone.
