Forest City, Iowa – Waldorf College’s Iowa Iota Chapter of the Alpha Chi Honor Society inducted 18 new members on Sunday, Sept. 30.

Alpha Chi is the highest honor on campus, restricted to only the top ten percent of junior and seniors,” said Dr. Suzanne Falck-Yi, faculty advisor and associate professor of English. “It offers academic opportunities such as sophomore scholarships, research grants, scholarships for graduate school, and the opportunity to attend and present at the Alpha Chi national convention.”

The induction ceremony recognized students for their academic success and dedication.

“We’re very proud of these students,” said Dr. Scott Searcy, Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the College. “They’ve demonstrated their commitment to academic achievement, and we’re happy to honor them with membership into the honor society.”
