MASON CITY – Beginning Monday August 27, 2012 at 7:00 AM, the Mason City Utility Division will begin Water Main repairs on S Monroe Ave. S Monroe Ave will be closed from West State St South to 1st St SW. The projected time for repairs is expected to be one week. Residents are asked to use either Pierce Ave or US Hwy 65 North to bypass the work area.
Expect congestion and delays around this area while the street is under construction. Please watch for construction workers and equipment if you are traveling near the work zone.
