Jefferson, IOWA — Today, 21 year old Patrick Ryan Thompson of Jefferson, Iowa was arrested and charged with Child Endangerment Causing Serious Injury for an incident that occurred in late January of 2012. This charge is a class C felony. Thompson was also arrested on an unrelated probation violation warrant.
This charge was filed at the conclusion of an investigation initiated by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and assisted by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. Thompson was taken into custody this afternoon, May 1, 2012, by deputies with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. He is currently being held at the Greene County Jail.
