(Mason City) – The Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health is pleased to announce an addition to their recent Health Day, an interactive blog with Daniel Wright and Rebecca Meyer, Fitness Wright Now and former contestants of NBC’s “The Biggest Loser.”
“The Health Department encourages residents to take advantage of this unique medium for personal tips, insight and motivation from individuals who have lived through the struggles of adopting healthy behaviors and pushed their way toward better health,” said Kelli Huinker, Wellness Service Manager, Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health. “We hope the blogs will spur individuals to find others in similar situations, gain the confidence to start adopting healthy behaviors and find social support to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.”
Starting Monday, April 16, 2012, residents will have the opportunity to continue their interaction with Wright and Meyer through an online blog segment on the Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health’s website. The first blog post is an introduction to meeting Wright and Meyer. Wright and Meyer will be posting new blogs every two weeks to keep residents informed, inspired, and improving their health.
