MASON CITY – At approximately 7:00 p.m., Monday, the Mason City Fire Department and Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a call of an apparent head-on collision at 317th Street and Orchid Avenue.
The two trucks involved landed a great distance apart from each other, with much debris and many squeal marks in between.
A witness at the scene commented, “It looks like one may have sideswiped the other.”
One individual was taken by ambulance to the Mercy Medical Hospital with minor injuries.
No other information was available.
