MASON CITY, Iowa – Despite losing heavily in a pair of duals in the past two weeks, NIACC wrestling remained 12th in the latest NJCAA poll released on February 2.

The Trojans will continue to see tough competition until the end of the season, starting with a road trip to see 17th-ranked Iowa Lakes tonight.

NIACC will host the 2012 NJCAA North Central District Wrestling Tournament on February 11, which combines Region XI (Iowa) and Region XIII (Minnesota) together to determine which wrestlers go to the National Tournament on February 24.

Ranked programs NIACC, Iowa Central and Iowa Lakes will all be at the district tournament, as well as vote receiving programs Rochester Community Technical College, Itasca Community College (MN), and Ridgewater College (MN). Ellsworth Community College, Iowa Western Community College, and Minnesota West Community and Technical College round out the tournament field.
