Police received a call just before 6:30 p.m. Thursday from the Urgent Care Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, 404 Fountain St., regarding a child with possible cigarette burns. No other information was available as of press time.

A counterfeit bill was reported at Farmers State Bank, 1452 W. Main St., at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
