Today’s photo comes from an anonymous NorthIowaToday.com reader, submitted just after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning. The message that came with the photos: “Christmas tree on fire in the road on North Federal two blocks from Casey’s.”
NorthIowaToday.com checked with the Mason City Police for more information. They said an officer and the Fire Department responded after a call was made at 1:55 a.m. They arrived on the scene at 700 North Federal at 1:56 a.m. and were gone by 1:59 a.m.
