MASON CITY – Shortly after 4 a.m. on Monday, October 18th, Mason City police stopped two men for no lights on their bicycles in the 1500 block on 4th Street SW.
Upon identification both men were arrested and transported to jail on valid Cerro Gordo County warrants.
Timothy Smith, age 22, of 1761 4th Street SW APT7, Mason City, was taken into custody on a theft in the 5th degree warrant issued Sept 30th. Timothy Smith pled guilty to the theft charge later in the day receiving $491 in court fines, surcharges, costs, and restitution.
Timothy Smith will remain in the Cerro Gordo County jail until October 26th to serve 10 days on two driving while barred convictions from July 2011.
Bradley Westendorf, age 47, of 2824 17 Street SW, Mason City, was taken into custody on two separate warrants for failure to appear in to child support bond hearings on Oct 11th.
Bradley Westerdorf has been appointed a lawyer at state expense and remains in Cerro Gordo County jail pending further court proceedings on two $500 cash only bonds.
