Servantez previously stated that she would not attend due to those media outlets barring the public from attending the forums and asking questions in person.
Sandra’s husband Mike told NorthIowaToday.com “I just read that the Globe changed their rules again, and now the citizens can mail their concerns in by regular mail. So sandra WILL attend that forum because of the change, now everyone can voice their concerns, not just a few.”
NorthIowaToday.com is not aware of any rule changes the Old Media has released regarding their candidate forums.
They did state earlier that the forums would be held on “private property” and that no public would be allowed in the studio during the forums.
