Beginning Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at 8:00 a.m., sanitary sewer main repairs will begin in the 100 & 200 blocks of North Monroe Avenue.
North Monroe Avenue will be closed between 1st Street NW and 4th Street NW. The intersection at 2nd Street NW will be open to eastñwest traffic only.
The projected time for repairs is expected to be approximately 4 days.
Expect congestion and delays around this area while the street is under construction. Please watch for construction workers and equipment if you are traveling near the work zone.
