The 13th Street NE Railroad Trestle Painting Project will be completed this Saturday, August 27 beginning at 6:00 a.m.
This project began this past May with the help of volunteers and POET Biorefining. However, due to rain, the west portion of the trestle did not get completed. “POET has generously offered to plan another day of painting and donating an aerial lift to help with the project,” according to Mary Zishka, the City’s volunteer service coordinator.
The street will be closed from Elm Drive to North Pennsylvania Avenue, with suggested detours throughout the area. Please take your time and drive carefully. The project should be completed by 10:00 a.m.
