To the citizens of Mason City, From Don Nelson:
It is time to step aside and provide other citizens in Ward 3 the opportunity to serve our fine community.
You may not have always agreed with my position on specific issues, but I have made a serious attempt to (do) what I seriously thought was always in the best interest of the majority of our Mason City citizens.
It has been my pleasure to serve.
Thank you all for your support during my tenure on the City Council.
I still have four months left on my final term to continue to serve.
