Hit and run reported Saturday in Mason City

MASON CITY – At approximately 9:30 p.m. Saturday night a call of a hit and run was called in at North Adams and 5th St. NW.

A passerby heard a lady screaming and called in for an ambulance. She reported that the lady had been hit by a car and the car had sped off. It was a black SUV alledgedly driven by Autumn King. It was in question if she had her driver’s license.

The Mason City Police were at the scene investigating the hit and run. The victim was standing outside beside the vehicle talking to the driver. It turned into an argument and driver took off in a hurry and sideswiped the victim.

Another Officer had Autumn King’s address and checked to see if the SUV was at home. It was not.

The victim was in pain and taken by ambulance to Mercy Medical Hospital.

Currently there is a warrant out for the arrest of Autumn Lorraine King. She is 5’10” tall and weighs 185 pounds and lives at 512 North Pennsylvania Avenue in Mason City.

On Autumn King’s Facebook page today it said “good morning face hookers have a blessed day!!” and hours before that it said “jamming and cleaning my garage what a pain !!”
