Cody, an employee of Mystic Lanes, usually goes in during the day to check on things and gets a bite to eat. He noticed that the office door didn’t look right, so he started looking around. Everything was broke into, except the cash register that had change in it. “There was a “Sh__” lot of quarters in there, but they wanted cash.” said Marilyn. “They didn’t break the front door windows, thank God, cause they cost a fortune to replace. They broke in the south entrance that is made of steel. It must have taken them an hour to break through. The back is well lit and hidden from view.”

Parts of Highway 122 were blocked off, letting police investigate the break in. “I’ve had break ins before, but never has there been this many police officers here to investigate.” commented Marilyn. “I have insurance, but not enough. I’ve already lost 35% of my business and thousands of dollars because of the new “No Smoking” law.”

Anyone with information should call the Mason City Police Department at 641-421-3636.
