Big Booms and Flashing lights in the nights sky at the fairgrounds had people wondering what was going on. The police called the Fire Department asking if there was a permit issued for fireworks. The response was “Yes, they were issued a permit three weeks ago for two nights.” A man at the fairgrounds said that Flashing Thunder comes once a year for a display. Vendors are notified so that they can watch and order what they want for their celebration.
