Three women had allegedly taken over $1,000 in merchandise and attempted to leave the store.|On March 13, 2011 at approximately 2:00 p.m. employees of Mills Fleet Farm 3200 4th S.W. notified the police department that they had detained three women inside the store for theft. Mason City Officers responded, and after a brief investigation, arrested Terie Emery age 41, Rhonda Moore-Hunter age 48, and JayLynn Daye age 41 all of Des Moines, Ia. They had allegedly taken over $1,000 in merchandise and attempted to leave the store. All three females were taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail and charged with 2nd degree Theft, and held on $5,000 bond each. 2nd Degree Theft is a class D felony and is punishable by up to 5 years in prison and up to $7,500 fine. This investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.|
