On February 23, Hazel Chuck, Reta Herdas and Margaret Schulter, Mason City residents and members of the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), traveled to the Iowa Statehouse to speak up for Iowa’s efforts to help seniors live independently. They found a supporter in State Senator Amanda Ragan of Mason City, who agreed that the best approach is to support the community services on which seniors rely.
