(Press release from Sen. Amanda Ragan)
Each year Iowans volunteer hundreds of hours through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Volunteers mentor, help at food pantries, and help their community in a variety of other ways. On February 22, organizers of RSVP programs throughout the state talked with legislators about the benefits older Iowans provide to all Iowans through RSVP. Left to right: Senator Amanda Ragan of Mason City and Molly Anderegg, the director of the North Central Iowa RSVP, sponsored by North Iowa Area Community College.
