MacNider Art Museum’s Films in February, Movies in March Continues with 3-Iron

The MacNider Art Museum’s 2011 Winter Film Series, Films in February, Movies in March, continues Saturday, March 5th, at 2:00 p.m. with 3-Iron. This is the fifth installment in the 2011 Film Series. Admission is free and open to the public. Popcorn will be provided.

3-Iron follows a young drifter as he enters strangers’ houses – and lives – while owners are away. He spends a night or a day squatting in the homes, repaying unwitting hospitality by doing laundry or small repairs. His life changes when he runs into a beautiful woman in an affluent mansion who is ready to escape her unhappy, abusive marriage. This film is sponsored by Dr. Gary Swenson and Dean Genth.

3-Iron is a 2004 feature film in Korean with English subtitles. It is rated R and is 88 minutes long.

Films in February, Movies in March will be shown in the Museum’s Salsbury Room on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. For more information about the Film Series or the MacNider Art Museum, please visit www.macniderart.org/films.html or call 641-421-3666. |
