Members of the Iowa Foster and Adoptive Parents Association visit Capitol

Iowa is fortunate to have many wonderful foster families who provide support and nurturing in times of crisis. However, the state currently has a shortage of foster families. Senator Amanda Ragan met with foster parents John and Sherry Fuller of Indianola and their foster children Kam and Sadie at the Capitol on February 15. The family, along with other members of the Iowa Foster and Adoptive Parents Association, came to the Capitol on February 15 to discuss ways to recruit and retain caregivers so that all foster children have a loving and safe home.
