A deputy sheriff stopped a man near the the 400 block of South Taft Ave. who had just been released from jail to offer counseling on Sunday morning at about 11 AM.
According to the police report, the officer “Stopped and spoke with subject because he appeared quite upset. He had just left the jail and they were concerned with his behavior. Subject advised he was upset because his girlfriend was in jail and he could not bond her out and he was also fighting with an uncle over cigarettes that he had taken. I offered a few suggestions and he calmed down.”|
