A traffic stop near 19th Street SW & Benjamin Avenue in Mason City on Tuesday at about 1:05 AM resulted in the arrest of two people, ages 19 and 20.
Driver of the vehicle was arrested for possession of scheduled iv controlled substance: xanax, unlawful possession of prescription drug: gabapentin, unlawful possession of prescription drug: hydroxyzine, and defective or unauthorized muffler system. Memorandum was issued for improper plate lamp.
Passenger arrested for possession of controlled substance: meth, possession of controlled substance: marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
