The City Council and Mayor will meet for a work session Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, Conference Room A, 2nd Floor. Council is not required to attend the work session. There are seven items on the agenda for discussion:
1. Council Member Tornquist requesting discussion on how staff would receive and evaluate various proposals from local design teams and at what stage would the Council become involved in site selection
2. Council Member Tornquist requesting discussion on the architect and engineer hiring process
3. Council Member Weaver requesting discussion of the 28 Funds available in the budget (what are they used for and how much is in each fund)
4. Council Member Weaver requesting discussion of Visit Mason City (CVB)
5. Council Member Weaver requesting discussion regarding the Mayor’s statement in North Iowa Today.com/complaint
6. Council Member Weaver requesting discussion regarding the vacant North Iowa Corridor Position and funding
7. Council Member Weaver requesting discussion of the Human Resources Position
