Flea market at fairgrounds has something for everyone

NorthIowaToday.com visited the flea market taking place at the North Iowa Fairgrounds Friday evening to have a look around. The market has something for everyone.|Toys, guns, fudge, t-shirts, antiques and wine.

NorthIowaToday.com took a tour of the flea market being held this weekend at the North Iowa Fairgrounds. The market has a little of everything and is sure to to satisfy the curious shopper.

There were about thirty vendors or so displaying their goods and services. NorthIowaToday.com was told there is room for lots more vendors, should they sign on. “We can remove the large tarp and expand the showroom and accommodate many more vendors,” one worker said.

Among the items that stood out were home made fudge, antique toys, a gun collection, wine tasting display, custom made t-shirts and a large knife collection. We also saw glassware, baked goods, cookbooks and other collectibles.

Vendors are typical small home businesses with a unique product to offer.

The fairgrounds are located at 3700 4th Street SW, and the flea market will be open Saturday until 4 pm.
