MASON CITY – The Mason City Noon Kiwanis Club’s annual Dad’s Belgian Waffles breakfast will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, at the Knights, of Columbus Hall, 551 S. Taft Ave.
The event is the major annual fundraiser for the club, which meets at noon Thursdays at Hy-Vee West.
Money raised by the club is spent on programs and services that help youngsters, said Joe Buttweiler, club president.
Tickets will be available at the door and cost $6 per person, with children 5 and under eating for free. Tickets may also be purchased in advance from Kiwanis members and members of the Newman Girls Basketball Team, and at Iowa Heartland Credit Union, 1602 S. Monroe Ave.|
