A semi-truck driven by 31 year-old Suad Arapovic of Urbandale was headed south on I-35 on December 20 at 2:30 PM when Arapovic lost control of the vehicle and it crossed the median and ended up in the east ditch next to the north roadway.
No other vehicles were struck by the truck when it crossed either roadway in snowy weather conditions..
The truck sustained about $10,000 in damage.
Arapovic was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured.
