Mason City police are dealing with lots of snow issues since this weekend’s blizzard. Among the calls:
– On Dec. 13, an officer was dispatched to 320 Georgia Av N to talk to subject pushing snow into neighbors yard. Subject advised of complaint.
– On Dec. 13, an officer was dispatched to 214 5 St NE for a complaint about someone plowing snow onto his lot. Officer spoke with the subject and advised him of the complaint.
– On Dec. 12, an officer was dispatched to 320 Tennessee Av S. Officer left message for subject regarding him blowing snow into the alleyway.
– On Dec. 12, an officer was dispatched to 325 Kentucky Av S for a complaint of snow put in the road. Snow was cleaned up on officers arrival.
– On Dec. 12, an officer was dispatched to 300 block of 27 St SW on the report of a subject blowing snow in the street. Officer made contact with the man and advised him of the complaint and that it was against City ordinance to do so.
– On Dec. 12, an officer was dispatched to N Georgia Av & 1 St NE for a subject blowing snow onto the roadway. Officer advised the subject of the complaint and not to blow any further snow onto the road.
– On Dec. 12, an officer was dispatched to 920 Fillmore Av N for a subject that had blown snow onto the roadway.
– On Dec. 11, an officer was dispatched to 1055 15 Pl NE. Officer spoke with subject who was pushing snow from his driveway onto the street. Subject advised he would move the snow back onto his property.
– On Dec. 11, an officer was dispatched to 748 3 St SW on the report of a plow pushing snow into street. Gone on arrival.
– Numerous calls to police to help stuck or stranded motorists in town.|
