One side wants all three Justices up for re-election removed, mainly due to their votes in favor or legalizing gay marriage in Iowa. The Iowa Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional to deny gay couples the right to marry in Iowa.
The other side is in favor of the Justices being re-elected.
