NIACC intends to build a Regional Training Center possibly on Highway 122 just west of College Drive on land owned by NIACC. This was approved by the North Iowa Area Community College board of directors at a public meeting held in Osage. Some landowners in the area have expressed concern due to drainage issues that the Center may bring to the area. Others are saying the Center would not be a welcoming structure for this entrance to Mason City.
Is the location at Highway 122 the best spot? Suggestions for alternate locations?
