
CHARLES CITY – City hall in Charles City is immediately closed to the public due to a COVID surge, the city announced today.
“City hall will be closed to the public for the next two weeks, possibly longer,” the city said in a statement released this morning.
“Due to the recent surge in COVID cases, city hall will be closed to the public for the next two weeks, possibly longer.”
Residents can utilize the drop box in the entry of city hall, the drop box outside in between city hall and the Press building and the online portal to pay their utility bills. Questions can be directed to city hall at 257-6300.
