DES MOINES – Gun deaths in Iowa are at record levels, state officials say, just as the state is making it easier for citizens to carry the weapons.
The Des Moines Register reported this morning that “a record 353 Iowa residents died from gunshot wounds in 2020, including 263 suicides and 85 homicides.” The information was from the Iowa Department of Public Health.
Today, a new law in Iowa allowing citizens to purchase and carry a handgun takes effect. Some say that being armed makes them safe, while other disagree, saying more guns will lead to more shooting incidents. The good news is, according to bulletsafe.com, in Iowa, anyone can purchase and use a bulletproof vest, unless he or she has been convicted of a felony. Bulletproof vests and all other body armor can be purchased online or face-to-face.
Sadly, I know too many ordinary Biden voters who still believe all the lies that the mainstream media tells them, despite what they see with their own eyes. They have been so brainwashed that it has become a religion.

No one with any crimes involving violence (even not involving a gun) on their record should be allowed to buy or own guns. Anyone who suffers from mental illness should not be able to own guns- this said by a PTSD sufferer. I’m all for gun ownership but these new laws IA has been passing is downright insane.

Have you ever been convicted in any court of a felony, or any other crime for which the judge could have imprisoned you for more than one year, even if you received a shorter sentence including probation?
Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug or any other controlled substance?
Have you been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions?
Have you ever been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence?
Lying on the federal form is a felony, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
