RURAL CERRO GORDO COUNTY – Three children were hurt Friday when a UTV operated by one of the youngsters rolled into a ditch.
The accident took place Friday afternoon, June 25, 2021. At about 1:18 PM, Cerro Gordo county deputies responded to a UTV accident on 150th Street near Vine Avenue. A 2013 Polaris Ranger driven by 15-year-old Jayce Weiner of Rockwell was westbound on 150th Street when he lost control of the UTV causing it to leave the roadway and overturn in the south ditch.
As a result of the accident, Weiner and two occupants on the UTV – 15-year-old Vincent Joslin of Charles City and 11-year-old Tess Weiner of Rockwell – were taken to Mercy One in Mason City by private vehicle.
The incident remains under investigation.

Ouch, health is fleeting, best not be letting kids do this kinda stuff but that’s Iowa when you enter the gravel road realms.
The Weiners better get their kids under control before some gets killed. First teenage drinking parties at their house now this
She must have been leaning to far to the left.
“The incident remains under investigation.” And we’ll never hear anything more about it.
Jayce Weiner is a “she” not a “he”. Just sayin…
