Iowa man supporting Donald Trump at Des Moines rally who shot black girl gets “generous” plea deal

DES MOINES – An Iowa man charged with attempted murder after shooting a teen girl at the Iowa capitol in his support of Donald Trump has received a “generous” plea deal after the incident.

On Sunday, December 6, at approximately 2:55 p.m., the Iowa State Patrol, the Division of Criminal Investigation and the Des Moines Police Department were dispatched to a State Capitol Complex parking lot near the Lucas State Office Building on a report of shots fired.

A confrontation occurred between a gathering of people – reportedly participating in a rally to support Donald Trump – leading to a minor female victim (15 years of age) suffering a gunshot wound. Per the complaint and affidavit, 25-year-old Michael McKinney of St. Charles, Iowa, intentionally fired a handgun at a vehicle driving through the parking lot of the Lucas State Office Building which resulted in the victim suffering her injuries. The female victim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The complaint states, “Michael McKinney intentionally fired a handgun at J.H. while she was riding in a vehicle traveling through the parking lot of the Lucas State Office building. J.H. suffered a gunshot wound and was admitted to a hospital. When questioned McKinney admitted to being responsible for the shooting and turned over his firearm to law enforcement.”

McKinney was arrested and charged with attempted murder, intimidation with a dangerous weapon – injure/provoke fear (class c felony), willful injury – causing serious injury (class c felony), assault while participating in a felony, reckless use of firearm and going armed with intent.

In what has been reported as a “generous” plea deal as described by prosecutors, McKinney has entered a guilty plea to only intimidation with a dangerous weapon and willful injury, both felonies. He now awaits sentencing on August 9.

Not capitalizing the “T” on the word “Two”, no apostrophe in the word “wasn’t”, the word “head” spelled “hed”, and no period at the end of the sentence. Refresh my memory, from under what rock did you crawl out from again???

The same one you did Einstein. Hook, line, and sinker.

In your dreams, retard. In your dreams. lol

Anyone who still uses the word ‘retard’ should stay under his rock.
