Gov. Reynolds signs new Public Health Disaster proclamation

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds

DES MOINES – Gov. Reynolds signed a new Public Health Disaster proclamation on Friday that extends critical regulatory relief for an additional 30 days to those on the frontlines of COVID19 recovery.

The proclamation continues to strongly encourage Iowans, businesses, and organizations to take reasonable public health measures consistent with guidance from the Iowa Department of Public Health.

The proclamation also continues to extend the waiver on transportation restrictions for overweight loads.

Where’s the “relief” for we grocery store workers who have had hours drastically cut yet have indeed contracted the virus while being exposed to all of the non-maskers while we were at work? This proclamation has no teeth for we little people, only the “big people” corporations.

When are Iowans going to figure out that Kimmy doesn’t give a dam about the little people here. She just returned $95 million of covid funds to the feds because she said we don’t need it. A couple weeks ago she was crying because she thought Biden was giving too much money to blue states and not enough to red states. She is bi-polar. The only public health disaster in Iowa is her.

Did you see where the 95mil had to be spent? Read all the story before you judge

You expect a Communist, I mean Democrat to read? Cnn tells them what to think, you know that.

Returning the $95 million that is to be used for COVID-19 testing (Money from Communist, I mean Democrat regime, so LOTS of hoops to jump through)ONLY.
The FACT that there is still close to $1.1 billion earmarked in Iowa for this, so why dance to the current regimes fiddle?

For one, the pandemic is not over and Covid is still here. Who knows what we will need come September in the schools. For the Governor, it was a political move not a practical or useful maneuver. She is prepping herself for a higher role in a Republican government and needs to solidify a strong base so she has some bargaining power. This slap at the present administration is one of the opening volleys in the 2024 elections. Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, Ron DeSantos, Josh Hawley have all made the headlines in the last week showing their opposition to the Democrat’s programs and philosophies. It will only increase in volume and become more crowded in the coming months. By the end of the year, Democrats will do the same. They will have to find candidates for President in 2024 and that will be starting at the end of this year.

If the Communists, I mean Democrats hadn’t started the crap about how they wouldn’t trust the vaccines because they were “rushed out without testing” under Trump. Then magically they were okay with them, not even their low IQ/information voters bite on that.
They still say it is bad, it is a racist vaccine, and a bunch of other shit picked up from listening to Headboard Harris.

As for returning the money being politically motivated, Damn right. IF she would have kept the money, the Communists, I mean Democrats would have the whole state by t he balls, Jump through this hoop, now that one. You need to help us with this bill.

You low information trumpettes are the most hypocritical bunch of hockey pucks in the world. You want the government out of our lives yet the Iowa republicans (trumpettes) voted again to interfere in our businesses. The anti-vaccine passport bill says businesses can’t discriminate against people who don’t vaccinate. But, on the other hand, if you opposes gay marriage because of your religious beliefs (ha ha), you can discriminate against those people by refusing them service.

Yah, so what?
