Derek Chauvin guilty of murdering George Floyd

Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is guilty of murder
and other charges after he killed George Floyd instead just arresting him like a normal police officer should. His three co-workers face charges as well.

MINNEAPOLIS – Derek Chauvin on Tuesday afternoon was found by a jury in Minneapolis of guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the killing of George Floyd.

Chauvin showed no emotion as the verdict was read.  He awaits sentencing.  Several of Chauvin’s co-workers who stood by while Chauvin committed the heinous murder also await trial.

If there is any integrity left in our justice system, they will call this a must-trial, and officer kneel will get a new trial

“A jury of your peers” does NOT mean a jury stacked with black ppl knowing their mind is made up. So much wrong on every side of this thing. Honestly. For as much destruction and death as it caused. George was a hell of a lot more trouble than his entire life was worth. BLM killed people, caused pps deaths, destroyed the lively hoods of business owners, threatened, terrorized, harrassed, intimidated and terrified everyone with their murderous, slanderous, theft and violence. BLM should be labeled a terrorist organization and its members should be incarcerated.

not in Minnesota. Besides, the law says decided by a jury of your peers. If we would follow the rule, it should have been an all Black jury. It only takes one person to ‘hang’ a jury, so any one of the 12 could have said not guilty, but they chose not to. America works.

Nobody can argue that if George floyd was never born or spent some time in prison for his precious drug conviction which he does not need to be pardoned for…. none of this would have happened and the country would have lived in alot more piece this last year. So many stores where slotted and burned, so many lives taken all in the name of a man none of us knew or gave a damn about. If he fell down some stairs and died…. you wouldnt have cared. If he od’d in his crappy apt… you wouldnt have cared. Stop giving a shit. BLM and black ppl exploited the name of a dead man and uses him as an excuse to riot, loot and burn. Its disgusting. Grow up.

71% of Americans agreed with the jury in the Derek Chauvin trial. You are a minority and I bet you don’t like it and think you are being treated unfairly.

George, like everyone else, didn’t want to go to jail. Only he fought police to try to prevent it. Why can’t we call that the “stupid” that it was? The majority of the minority of “police brutality” cases the media reports on have that as a common denominator.

George Floyd should not have died, but he did just about everything possible wrong in the lead-up to his death, which he could have prevented had he simply complied.

At the very start of the video, it seems as if the junkie is already cashing out. That the interaction with the police actually prolonged his life.
By what we could see in the FULL video, and what we found out during the trial, even if he had complied, he was a dead man in the car before the medics arrived.

A fair trial? What a joke. At every point, they stacked the deck. “Due process is apparently a luxury we can’t afford because BLM will get mad.”

I would like to pointed out that 8 out of the 12 jurors already had their minds made up before the trial.

Breakdowns of the juror questionnaires are very telling. This is why I say the trial wasn’t unbiased.

On the questionnaires, there are answers like, “She said viewing the video of Floyd’s death before the trial left her with a “somewhat negative” impression of Chauvin.”, or ” Before the trial began, he said he had seen at least portions of the video of Floyd’s death and had a somewhat negative view of Chauvin”, or ” The woman said the bystander video, which she had viewed before the trial began, left her with a somewhat negative view of Chauvin”.

SUUURE, they will be unbiased.

You are cherry-picking responses. If you understood how a jury works, you might look at these people a little less harshly. All jurors have to be approved by the defense and prosecution. If any of these people were thought to be biased, the defense could have removed them or the judge could have. On another point, where in Minnesota would you find someone who hadn’t viewed the video at least in part? Where would you find someone who wasn’t aware of the protests? You probably think they should have had members of the Oath Keepers or the KKK as jury members.

I didn’t “Cherry pick” responses, there was no need. The article I referenced was published April 19, the day before the verdict of the trial. The headline:

Who are the jurors in the Derek Chauvin trial?

Though the jurors will remain anonymous, here’s what we know about the jury seated for Derek Chauvin’s trial in the killing of George Floyd.

By Paul Walsh and Hannah Sayle Star Tribune
April 19, 2021 — 8:45pm

In its final form, the jury includes a multi-race woman in her 20s, a multi-race woman in her 40s, two Black men in their 30s, a Black man in his 40s, a Black woman in her 60s, three white women in their 50s, a white woman in her 40s, a white man in his 30s and a white man in his 20s.

Now,I do understand how a jury works. There should have been a change of venue granted, but it was denied. The jury should have been sequestered for the duration of the trial, but they weren’t, only instructed not to watch the news. In all honesty, the trial shouldn’t have been televised.

Did our establishment stand up to defend the justice system by doubling down on the due process protections every accused is entitled to? No, instead our elite tossed out the most basic component of our justice system, the idea of due process and a fair trial because to not do so would have led to evil and dumb people calling them “racists” and they couldn’t handle that heat.

Imagine if george just tried to be as good a monkey as they can and used real money at the store instead of being a worthless junkie loser high on meth and fentanyl using a counterfeit bill. Counterfeiting is a $800,000 plus fine and a federal mandatory minimum of 12 years. Let’s hope chauvin isnit in far less than that. All he did was kill an worthless junkienscum bag loser who should have been incarcerated anyway because he was a dumb pill head who didnt deserve the life he wasted.

When an officer says “Put your hands up,” then put your hands up! Don’t reach for something in your pocket, your lap, your seat. There’s plenty of reason for a police officer to feel threatened, there have been multiple assaults and ambushes on police officers lately. Comply with requests from the officer, have your day in court. Don’t mouth off, or fight, or refuse to comply… that escalates the situation.

Knee wasn’t on his neck, it was on his shoulder. IF Chauvin’s knee had been on the junkies neck, there would have been damage to the neck, coroner stated “no damage to neck”.

He did not restrict the junkies air flow.

Fentanyl’s effects include:
extreme happiness
drowsiness
nausea
(NOTICE) confusion
constipation
sedation
(NOTICE) problems breathing
unconsciousness

When people overdose on fentanyl, their breathing can slow or stop. This can decrease the amount of oxygen that reaches the brain, a condition called hypoxia. Hypoxia can lead to a coma and permanent brain damage, and even death. Sudden death can also occur because of cardiac arrest or severe anaphylactic reaction.

The coroner said the junkie died of hypoxia. Huh, wonder what caused it. Maybe 3 times the amount of fentanyl that’s considered deadly overdose in his system? NAH, couldn’t be that.

Bullshit. A tweaker with fentynil in his system and a pre existing heart condition used a fake twenty at a real store and initially resisted arrest is somehow totally guilt free? Counterfeiting is a 12 year federal sentence with over $800,000 worth of fines attached to it. I’m not saying chauvin is totally innocent but George made his choices. Where was the solidarity and brother hood among black america when the store clerk decided to call the evil racist white police that day? He could have ignored the fake money, I mean george was just a victim of systemic racism and the white devils money shouldn’t have mattered, right? Why make another brotha man pay for items produced by the racist industrial tyrants of america! Seriously though George made bad choices and he shouldn’t be absolved of that because he died. He was just another worthless junkie loser at the end of every other day of his adult life, now hes a martyr? Give us a break. Chauvin is a pos but I dont think he was a hundred percent to blame. Those bystanders on the street could have helped the man. Cops aren’t gods, you’re allowed to defend yourself or other people against them if they are acting unreasonable and violent and putting ppl at risk, same as you can with any other person causing injury or death. The other officers present did nothing so… where is the negligent homicide charge for those men? Literally everyone at cup foods that day other than a nine year old child can logically be held culpable for george Floyd’s death. I didnt hear one of them other than the clerk of cup foods express remorse for their conduct that day. All he did was his job. The other ppl literally did nothing but pull out phones to record and to talk shit. Honestly I feel like BLM was disappointed they didn’t get the not guilty verdict so they could justify destroying cities all summer long. We know it isnt about saving lives or BLM would be in the streets of chicago every night and weekend preventing the hundreds of black on black shootings that take place EVERY SINGLE WEEK. No, they care about manipulating and brainwashing people with perceived slights by white america, all it does is profit the founders of BLM and cause chaos off of the backs of the same community they claim to represent. Floyds name has been exploited for almost a year straight. Youd hope the guilty verdict takes that power play away from blm

You are wrong about Chauvin’s convictions. If you want to use ‘character’ or “past behavior’ as justification of Floyd’s murder by Derek Chauvin, you might not be happy when someone points out that Chauvin was a bad cop and a bad person before George Floyd. Do their past problems cancel each other out? Or should just Floyd’s past matter? If you want to look at facts, Chauvin showed wanton disregard for Floyd’s well-being while in his custody. Good cops don’t believe in the same things as do cops like Chauvin and there are more good cops than bad cops out there proven during the trial by the men and women who testified that Chauvin did not follow his training. Also, remember that thing called the Constitution? Justice was served.

It’s easy to tell you didn’t watch all of the interaction between the junkie and the cop.

I am talking about the 20 plus minutes before he was on the ground, AT HIS OWN REQUEST.

He started the, “I can’t breathe” bull as soon as he was cuffed. While he was on the ground, SUPPOSEDLY being choked, if YOU watch the videos, he lifts his head up talks to people, must really be fighting to breathe there huh.

“The police vehicle wasn’t big enough for Mr. Floyd.” And the clown car he was driving was then?

Chauvin did follow his training, according to one of the trainers, not appointees of the mayor.
The Use of force expert stated that Chauvin used the appropriate amount of restraint for the situation. (After Floyd assaulted one of the officers, and was resisting being put into the vehicle.)

IF you actually watch and pay attention to the video, you will notice that Chauvin is on Floyd’s SHOULDER, NOT his neck.

As for the junkie ODing, Fentanyl’s effects include:
extreme happiness
drowsiness
nausea
(NOTICE) confusion
constipation
sedation
(NOTICE) problems breathing
unconsciousness

When people overdose on fentanyl, their breathing can slow or stop. This can decrease the amount of oxygen that reaches the brain, a condition called hypoxia. It is like the covid doctor who says it isn’t that bad and 10 of his fellow doctors say it is an extremely bad sickness. You believe the one because that is what you want to believe and you discount the majority because they don’t support your bullshit.

Just what we need to move forward. Another highly opinionated, racist “anonymous.” It’s pretty obvious from your statement that you didn’t watch any of the trial.

The other three cops involved have their trials starting in August, but I’m sure they will all take a plea bargain now that this trial proved that they can’t win.

I didn’t watch all of it, that would have been a waste of my time. It was obvious from the start, the verdict was set before the trial began. Read some of the public profiles given, through the courts, of the jurors, untainted, RIGHT.

As for a medical degree, don’t need one to look up things at the CDC website.(oops, didn’t see that coming did you?) Conservatives have to have sources, Communists, I mean Socialists, I mean Democrats can just say whatever the hell they want and get away with it.
For instance, an idiot calling me a racist.

Racist definition according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary : : a belief that race is a fundamental determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.

This is not my belief, I do believe that Floyd was a junkie, I formed this belief by hearing/reading about the drugs in his system, and his drug abusing past. Hmm, nothing racist about that. Let’s see if we can find where your little pea brain twisted things, like most Communists do to fit their narrative.
Pointed out on shoulder, not neck, this can be seen in the video(not racist). Put up what can happen when overdosing on fentanyl(not racist).
I can’t figure out what you were twisting in that empty skull of yours’ to get racist out of it.

Please do all of us a favor Grow the Hell up, Or Shut the Hell up. Calling people a Racist because YOU don’t agree with what they say really shows how lacking all the way around, you are.

highly opinionated
