CLARKSVILLE – An Iowa woman was nabbed Saturday in Clarksville with illegal drugs.
On March 13, 2021 the Clarksville Police department completed an investigation at Heery Woods which resulted in a search warrant for a vehicle operated by Shannon Kissinger, age 50 of Iowa City. During the execution of the search warrant, officers located two small baggies of methamphetamine in a hand wipe container on the driver side floor board, a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue, and numerous prescription pills to which Kissinger was not prescribed.
Kissinger was transported to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office and has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance – Serious Misdemeanor, Possession of Prescription Drug – Serious Misdemeanor, and Possession of Paraphernalia- Simple Misdemeanor. She is awaiting her initial appearance in court.
