WASHINGTON, D.C. – The violent, delusional insurrectionists who stormed the United States Capitol building and sent lawmakers and their staffs fleeing have the attention of America’s top cop and will likely soon be facing justice.
Acting Attorney General Jeffrey A. Rosen issued the following statement “regarding the overrunning of the U.S. capitol building” on January 6, 2021:
“The violence at our Nation’s Capitol Building is an intolerable attack on a fundamental institution of our democracy. From the outset, the Department of Justice has been working in close coordination with the Capitol Police and federal partners from the Interior Department, the Department of Homeland Security, and the National Guard, as well as the Metropolitan Police and other local authorities. Earlier this afternoon, the Department of Justice sent hundreds of federal law enforcement officers and agents from the FBI, ATF, and the U.S. Marshals Service to assist the Capitol Police in addressing this unacceptable situation, and we intend to enforce the laws of our land.”
Rosen began serving as the Acting Attorney General of the United States on December 24th, 2020, after William Barr resigned. Barr, a long-time Donald Trump supporter and protector, unleashed to the Associated Press Thursday in the wake of the Wednesday chaos, blaming Trump for inciting the demonstrators to turn into insurrectionists, saying “orchestrating a mob to pressure Congress is inexcusable.”

‘We intend to enforce the law of the land’. Does that statement include laws impacting how our justice system operates? How our elected officials conduct transactions? How wealthy people and businesses (like amazon) operate? Just which laws are we talking about? Lately it seems only laws against innocent people and businesses are being enforced. Enforce ALL laws against all people and the quality of life in America will improve 10 fold.
