CEDAR RAPIDS – A man who repeatedly drove pounds of methamphetamine to the Midwest from a source in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2019, was sentenced October 22, 2020, to more than 18 years in federal prison.
Daniel Decker, age 39, from Kenosha, Wisconsin, received the prison term after a guilty plea to one count of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
In a plea agreement, Decker admitted he drove through Cedar County, Iowa, with approximately five pounds of ice methamphetamine with the intent to redistribute it. At sentencing, evidence showed that Decker had transported approximately twenty pounds of ice methamphetamine from Las Vegas to the Midwest over the course of a couple of months.
Decker was sentenced in Cedar Rapids by United States District Court Judge C.J. Williams. Decker was sentenced to 220 months’ imprisonment. He must also serve a five-year term of supervised release after the prison term. There is no parole in the federal system. Decker is being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Liz Dupuich and investigated by the Muscatine County drug task force.

Prisons are now like gas chambers. The very air people breathe in the poorly ventilated enclosed spaces will kill them. As for infected droplets they can travel to about 6 feet. From a cough or sneeze. But it also becomes aerosolized and can swirl about the air in an enclosed space for 20+ hours. So this corona crap is like a deadly gas of sorts. And nobody cares. Some prisons probably have there own crematoriums. Once in these rat holes the plague will never leave. They’ll keep catching it over and over. With a vaccine in MAY a long way off the dark winter ahead in the midwest is going to be wicked.

Two places to avoid like the plague right now is hospitals and jails. There’s no way to clean the air if these confined areas become concentrated with infected people. Going to jail could be a death sentence. And this ice drug is pure poison. One day a book will come out on the pandemic. Stories from the hospitals and jails will tell the very real story. It’s bad and will get way worst. He’s doomed.
