DES MOINES – Donald Trump is coming to Iowa for a Des Moines political rally this Wednesday.

Donald Trump plans to hold an in-person rally at 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 14 at the Des Moines International Airport. The event opens to the public at 3:00 PM. The Des Moines International Airport is located at 3023 Army Post Rd.

Donald Trump recently came down with the dreaded Covid-19 illness. He was rushed by helicopter to the top hospital in Washington – Walter Reed.  He remained hospitalized for a number of days and was given a cocktail of experimental drugs and steroids. He has not disclosed when or if he has tested negative for the disease. His campaign says on the signup page for the Des Moines event:

By registering for this event, you understand and expressly acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. In attending the event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; the host venue; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers from any and all liability under any theory, whether in negligence or otherwise, for any illness or injury.

Trump’s son, Donald Jr., will apparently grace the Hawkeye state capitol the day before. He will be in Des Moines on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 3:30 pm. Doors open at 01:00 pm at 1007 E Grand Ave, Des Moines. The campaign lists the same required Covid-19 waiver for this event.
