Iowa Attorney General reminds of rules and penalties at polling places

Tom Miller, Iowa Attorney General

DES MOINES – Iowa’s Attorney General today reminded the public of rules and penalties at polling places as in-person voting launches on October 5.

Tom Miller, Iowa’s Attorney General said today that “in Iowa, a person commits a felony if he/she ‘intimidates, threatens, or coerces’ a person to do or to refrain from voting. It is also illegal to interfere with the validity of an election or to loiter or electioneer at a polling place.

He shared a link to Iowa code that outlines the rules.

President Donald Trump at Tuesday night’s debate with Joe Biden called on his followers to go to polling places to watch voting.  He did this in 2016 and has done so on other occasions as the 2020 election nears.  Some fear violence, confrontations or chaos if politically-charged “poll watchers” and voters confront one another.

Too late Trump already scared old people who want to vote him out. cucking frook

Just goes to prove how unamerican trump truly is.

We need police or better yet, National Guard standing by inside and outside voting stations to defend the rights of all voters by preventing voter intimidation by outside groups.

After the comments Trump made in last nights debate it is very clear that Trump is by far the biggest risk to America. He has become a cancer to our democracy. I hate to say it but anyone that can stand by, defend and allow this to happen to our country is truly part of the issue. This is not a endorsement of Biden it is a denouncement of Trump.

Evidently you don’t remember the Black Panthers at polling places when Barack Husein Obama was President and Joseph Sniffin’ Biden was Vice-President.

But that’s okay. They were making sure that Democrats got the votes.

There were hundreds of them in Mason City quite frightening.

did they look like the guy in the movie?

He just died.

It was 2 Black Panther members at one polling place. One was removed by police, the other was allowed to stay because he was a certified poll watcher. It wasn’t right, but you have once again overblown a minor incident into a world-changing situation.

The Kool-Aid drinkers have nothing else to stand on. Definingly not Trumps policies because he doesn’t have any.
